Founded in 1972, APHM has grown to include over 160 members, all committed to advancing the quality of healthcare in Malaysia.

APHM member hospitals play a critical role in the Malaysia’s healthcare ecosystem. As key partners supporting the public sector healthcare providers, our members contributes to complimenting the delivering of comprehensive and accessible medical care to Malaysians and visitors from abroad.

Key Initiatives & Contributions:

  • Strategic Partnerships: We maintain active dialogues with key public sector agencies, including the Ministry of Health (MOH) and the Ministry of Finance (MOF), to contribute insights and propose solutions that support the healthcare sector’s growth and sustainability.
  • Industry Engagement: APHM actively participates in national working groups such as MPC, MITI, and MATRADE, collaborating on initiatives that drive the development of the healthcare industry.
  • Education & Training: We are committed to continuous professional development for healthcare providers. We organises the annual APHM International Healthcare Conference and Exhibition, as well as smaller, specialised workshops focusing on clinical and administrative/managerial topics, ensuring that healthcare professionals remain up-to-date with the latest industry practices.
